A 3D laser scanning survey was carried out by Westline 3D laser scanning team at a cement factory in Ras Al Khaimah to capture the existing geometry of the preheat tower. The survey was required to support the installation of a new conveyor system within the existing structure.
High-accuracy point cloud data was collected to document the existing structural and mechanical conditions, identify available clearances, and determine suitable mounting and connection points. The resulting 3D data provided an accurate digital representation of the existing geometry, enabling the design team to develop and coordinate the new conveyor system while minimizing clashes and site modifications.
